报告摘要Integration, miniaturization and flexibility are the major trends in optoelectronic device development. Two-dimensional (2D) materials and their derivatives have attracted unprecedented enthusiasm during the past decade due to their exceptional mechanical, thermal, optical, and electrical properties not available in conventional materials [1]. These properties not only evoke fundamental research into the physical origin but also offer tremendous new opportunities in engineering new device architectures, solving the long-existing challenges with new materials and concepts.

This article explores the optoelectronic applications of 2D materials by using the manufacture friendly, one-step mask-free direct laser printing (DLP) method [2,3]. Our results have demonstrated the great potentials of 2D material films as an emerging integratable platform for ultrathin, light-weight and flexible photonic and electronic devices towards high resolution microscopic imaging, all-optical communications, and energy storage applications [4-8].

报告人简介:Professor Baohua Jia is a Research Leader at Swinburne University of Technology, Melbourne, Australia. She received her BSc and MSc degrees from Nankai University, China and her PhD (2007) from Swinburne University of Technology, Australia.

Dr Jia’s research focuses on ultrafast laser imaging, spectroscopy and nanofabrication of novel photonic nanostructures and employment of nanostructures and nanomaterials for clean energy related research. She is interested in both fundamental research and research commercialization.

Dr. Jia has co-authored more than 200 scientific publications in highly ranked journals and prestigious international conferences including Nature Photonics, Nature Communications, and Advanced Materials. She has delivered more than 40 invited talks at prestigious international conferences and serves multiples professional committees. She has received numerous prizes and awards, with the most recent ones including the 2015 Significant Women in Australia, 2013 Young Tall Poppy Science Award, 2012 L’Oréal Australia and New Zealand for Women in Science Fellowship, Discovery Early Career Researcher Award (DECRA) from the Australian Research Council (2012).
